MISUNDERSTOOD MINERS OFTEN FIND THEMSELVES, NOT THEIR INDUSTRY. UNDER SIEGE

Mine 9

I made Mine 9 as a way to honor the brave men and women who work underground and to allow those on the outside looking in to better understand what these miners actually do for the rest of us.”

— Eddie Mensore, director and producer of Mine 9

NEW YORK CITY, NY, UNITED STATES, December 6, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — National Miners Day was designated in Congress in 2009 to honor the contributions and sacrifices of miners across the country both past and present. More than 325,000 men and women work in nearly 13,000 underground and surface mines across the United States. It can be a dangerous, dirty and debilitating business, often passed down through the generations from grandfather to father to son.

The coal mining industry in particular is often the target of intense debate on both sides of the political spectrum, , leaving the miners themselves in the middle, even though their primary goal is just to feed their families, often in economically depressed areas with few if any other job prospects.

And although the coal mining industry has been in gradual decline for decades due to a combination of automation, environmental and safety concerns, dwindling price per ton and other factors, the sector still supplies power for about a third of all electricity in the U.S. and a significant number of good paying jobs in cash strapped small towns in Appalachia and other parts of the U.S.

The 2019 film MINE 9, produced and directed by West Virginia native Eddie Mensore set out to honor the miners while entertaining audiences and not wading into the political debate. The fast-paced entertaining epic, dubbed a “claustrophobic thriller” by critics spotlights tragedy, terror, and survival for a group of nine underground coal miners. When things go very wrong at a poorly maintained mine, the tight knit group of coworkers and friends find themselves trapped two miles underground with less than an hour’s worth of oxygen to survive. And although MINE 9 doesn’t take sides politically, it definitely sides with the miners themselves, who are just trying to provide for their families and stay alive day in and day out underground.

MINE 9 enjoyed an initial spring 2019 release with phenomenal reviews including a 93% “fresh” score on RottenTomatoes.com. More importantly to director/producer Mensore, MINE 9 played for weeks to packed theaters and big thumbs-up signs from moviegoers throughout the coalfields where the movie premiered before New York and Los Angeles. MINE 9 often beat major Hollywood releases like "Avengers Endgame" and Disney’s “Dumbo" at the local box office in those markets.

“I made Mine 9 as a way to honor the brave men and women who work underground and to allow those on the outside looking in to better understand what these miners actually do for the rest of us,” says Mensore, who grew up in West Virginia, ground zero of the Appalachian coal fields, and knew many miners personally. “National Miner’s Day is for them, and they deserve it and more for helping keep America’s lights on every day."

One of 2019’s best reviewed indie movies Mine 9 releases on DVD, Blu Ray and digital platforms including InDemand, Comcast, Cox, Spectrum, iTunes, GooglePlay, Amazon, Time Warner, Sling, Verizon, M-Go, Vudu, Dish, AT&T, Xbox and Play Station January 7, 2020. DVD and Blu Ray will be available at Walmart, Amazon.com, Best Buy, and Target.

Eddie Mensore and MINE 9 co-star and fellow West Virginia Kevin Sizemore (known for his roles in Woodlawn, Fear The Walking Dead, Chicago P.D., Timeless, Under The Dome, Desperate Housewives, Notorious and more) are both available for interviews.

MONTORO EXPANDS PECORS (Nickel, Copper, PGE’s & Gold) SURVEY DATA & 3D VIDEO, ELLIOT LAKE- ONTARIO
December 3, 2019 – Vancouver, B.C. – International Montoro Resources Inc. (TSX-V: IMT), (Frankfurt: O4T1), (the “Company”).
( 3D Video) Montoro, defines (2) Massive Sulphide – Nickel, Copper, PGE & Gold targets in Ontario, Canada
.
Further compilation of the Geotech ZTEM survey data defines (2) high probability massive sulphide targets (conductive & magnetic).
Pecors Anomaly Compilation Expands the Area of Interest:
Further to our news release of September 10, 2019. Mira Geosciences has completed the compilation of exploration data on the Pecors – Serpent River, Nickel, Copper, Gold, Platinum/Palladium Project into its Geoscience Analyst (3-D) visualization and exploration platform.
In our March 12, 2019 news release of the 3D Geotech inversion data we got the (top-down view) (link) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuB8nn4nVCE of the Pecors (EM) anomaly. In September 2019 through Geoscience Analyst we were able to view our Pecors project in a 3D/interactive platform (underground view) – (link) https://youtu.be/JpyNHoIWHug With the addition of the Geotech ZTEM MVI Inversion Magnetic survey derived data, the Pecors Anomaly overall dimensions are now 5.7 km (length) x 4.2 km x 2.2km, double previous estimates.

Figure 2
Further compilation of the Geotech ZTEM survey data defines (2) high probability massive sulphide targets (conductive & magnetic).
Gary Musil comments;
“As the 3D graphic and accompanying 3D video indicates we now have (2) distinct anomalous areas: (Magnetic/Red) featuring a TMI (Total Magnetic Intensity) of 57,000 nT (Nano Teslas) and a (Conductive/ Gold) 33 ohms.”
Utilizing data from our 2007 VTEM survey and a subsequent 3D model by L.E. Reed Geophysical Consultant Inc., the Company completed a 2322 meter (2 hole) drill program to probe the source of the Magnetic Anomaly. Drill hole P-15-22 (1 km) intersected a gabbro body – the source of the magnetic anomaly –yielding minor sulphides that contained Ni, Cu, PGE values near the base. Drill hole P-15-23 also intersected the gabbro (magnetic anomaly) and the results indicate we may have made contact with the Conductive Anomaly returning low grade Gold, Platinum, Palladium, Copper and Nickel values from core samples. These assays also correlate with the Crone Geophysics downhole probe data from P-15-23.
Gary Musil further comments;

“In essence we are exploring for a massive sulphide Ni,Cu, PGE, Au deposit. The Geotech ZTEM survey sensors indicate where buried conductive and magnetic sulphide anomolies are, and derives quantative values for each. In 2015 we discovered (1-15%) sulphides (pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pyrite) which are some of the sulphides attributed to many of the world’s significant massive sulphide Nickel/Copper/Platinum//Palladium/Gold deposits. Our conductive result (3 ohms) compares very favorably with the Voisey Bay, Eastern Deeps deposits – Geotech ZTEM data. Within the conductive (Gold) portion is a “bull’s eye” area (Geotech 2018 ZTEM for Pecors) featuring a conductive value estimated to be approximately (3 ohms) below (Figure 3). Below (Figure 4) 2007 Geotech ZTEM survey data for Voisey bay Eastern deeps (1-5 ohms), a lower ohms value is more prospective “.

Figure 4 (above)
“Sulfide minerals associated with sulfide-rich Ni-Cu-PGE deposits are highly conductive, and massive to semi-massive occurrences present highly favorable EM targets (King, 2007). The EM methods have been particularly helpful with the Voisey’s Bay deposits and a variety of frequency- and time-domain methods have been successfully applied there” (Balch, 1999; King, 2007; Ford and others, 2007).USGS report 2010 – 5070
A further explanation: USGS Report 2010 5070 – Occurrence Model for Magmatic Sulfide Rich Nickel-Copper-(Platinum-Group Element) Deposits Related to Mafic and Ultramafic Dike-Sill Complexes.” In most deposits, the sulfide mineralization can be divided into disseminated, matrix or net, and massive sulfide, depending on a combination of the sulfide content of the rock and the silicate texture. The major Ni-Cu sulfide mineralogy typically consists of an intergrowth of pyrrhotite (Fe7 S8 ), pentlandite ([Fe, Ni]9 S8 ), and chalcopyrite (FeCuS2 ). Cobalt, PGE, and gold (Au) are extracted from most magmatic Ni-Cu ores as byproducts, although such elements can have a significant impact on the economics in some deposits, such as the Noril’sk-Talnakh deposits, which produce much of the world’s palladium.” (Barnes and Lightfoot, 2005) https://pubs.usgs.gov/sir/2010/5070/i/pdf/sir2010-5070i.pdf

Faster, Automated Fisher Number Measurement with the New Micromeritics Sub-Sieve Autosizer II

Micromeritics’ Sub-Sieve Autosizer II

Micromeritics

Boosting the productivity of particle sizing via the air permeability technique

NORCROSS, GEORGIA, UNITED STATES, December 3, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — Micromeritics Instrument Corp., a global leader in material characterization technology, today launched the new highly automated Sub-Sieve Autosizer II (SAS II), an instrument that boosts the productivity and accuracy of particle sizing via the air permeability technique, a benchmark in many industries. A direct and substantially improved successor to the renowned Fisher Model 95 SubSieve Sizer (FSSS), it generates ‘Fisher numbers’ which are highly consistent to those of its predecessor. With easy-to-use functionality and electronic data recording, the new SAS II is particularly useful for those complying with specific ASTM standards including E2980, E2651, B330-12 and B330-15 for metal powders and C721-15 for alumina and silica powders (ceramics).

The SAS II delivers particle size measurements in the range 0.2 to 75µm, a range that tends to be too fine for economic and/or accurate sizing by sieve analysis. It utilizes the non-destructive air permeability technique which was commercialized many decades ago specifically to meet the requirement to size finer powders. The resulting ‘Fisher numbers’ are a critical part of established or historical specifications for a significant number of products. The technique involves measuring the pressure drop across a packed bed of sample at a defined air flow rate. The correlation between these two parameters is related to the particle size, or more specifically the specific surface area of a sample, via the Carman-Kozeny equation.

Integrated software makes the new SAS II quick and easy to set-up with a real-time data display simplifying method development. Fully automated measurement sequences include computer-controlled sample compaction and pressure stability for high repeatability. Reports are automatically generated and readily customized to company requirements, while security features safeguard measurement methods and configuration parameters from unauthorized change. In combination these features allow users to efficiently and reliably generate and record the ‘Fisher numbers’ required for QC and comparative testing, with minimal manual intervention.

Wyoming, Texas, Utah Top 2019’s Sound Money Index — Vermont, Arkansas, New Jersey Among the Worst States

Precious Metals Dealer, Sound Money Group Rank the 50 States’ Gold and Silver Policies

However, there are steps states can take to protect their citizens from the ill effects of America’s unbacked paper money system, and many of them are taking those steps”

— Jp Cortez

CHARLOTTE, NC, USA, December 2, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — “Is Your State Destroying Your Money?” asks the Sound Money Defense League and Money Metals Exchange with the release of the 2019 Sound Money Index.

The Sound Money Index is the first index of its kind, ranking all 50 states using twelve different criteria to determine which states maintain the most pro- and anti-sound money policies in the country.

The Sound Money Index evaluates each state’s sales and income tax policies involving precious metals, whether a state recognizes the monetary role of gold and silver under the U.S. Constitution, whether a state holds pension, reserves, or debt denominated in gold or silver, whether a state has imposed precious metal dealer/investor harassment laws, and other criteria.

Wyoming, Texas, and Utah emerged as the best states on sound money in the nation, and South Dakota, Alaska, New Hampshire, and Washington are not far behind.
Maine, Tennessee, Ohio, and Kentucky joined Vermont, Arkansas, and New Jersey as the worst states on this issue.

Money Metals Exchange, a national precious metals dealer recently ranked “Best in the USA,” and the Sound Money Defense League, a national, non-partisan sound money advocacy group joined together to produce the authoritative ranking

“Federal policy and the privately owned banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve System are the root causes of inflation, instability, and currency devaluation,” noted Jp Cortez, Policy Director at the Sound Money Defense League.

“However, there are steps states can take to protect their citizens from the ill effects of America’s unbacked paper money system, and many of them are taking those steps,” Cortez noted.
